| Joseph Lucas Vizzini and David
Alec Swann are hitmen, contract killers, and have saved each other's lives
countless times. On this night, they are separately given instructions
from an anonymous client to proceed to a certain address at a certain time,
and kill the man present there - no matter who it is. Neither killer
is aware of the other until they come face-to-face and gun-to-gun with
each other there, and discover that they are the only ones present.
Both men immediately become convinced that they have been sent here to
kill the other, but while Vizzini is a hardened man of purely cold blood
that refuses to lower his 9mm pistol, Swann attempts to talk sense into
his brother in arms. Swann tries to convince the unwavering Joseph
Vizzini that this is a setup. But does he even believe his own claims?
Does Vizzini even give a damn? Can they discover the truth of this
encounter? Will either of them leave this house alive? Ultimately,
there seems to be only one law this night - kill or be killed. |

• Kill Or Be Killed is as ready as it's ever gonna
be to go into production next year. The script is as solid as it's
ever gonna get, and with the extension of the Vengeance script,
it seems like 2008 is the best time to persue both projects. I intend
to shoot Kill Or Be Killed first, and thereby, have the roles of
David Swann, Marcus Balstrom, and Damien Ricket already cast going into
the now 60+ page Vengeance. Sure seems like 2008 will be the
year of the hitmen with RavensFilm Productions.

• The script has been expanded further, again.
A whole new opening sequence has been constructed that will ultimately
tie-in further with the inevitable future remake of Vengeance.
With the actors I have worked with so far on The Fixer, and one
that I have yet to truly work with at all, almost the entire cast can be
pooled from them. Though, no major steps will be taken on Kill
Or Be Killed until The Fixer is much further along, but again,
Glenn Allen will reprise his Vengeance role of Lucas Blackmore for
this short thriller.

• As should be obvious, casting fizzeled out back in
August, and the production was again postponed. Though, the script
is being expanded slightly, and a reliable casting pool is might be available
after the holidays to shoot this pretty swiftly. Though, this is
all tentative. We will have to see how things progress with The
Fixer first before moving into another production, no matter how small.

• Casting is underway. Two have auditioned, but
many more are ready to audition still. A second audition session
is being arranged for this coming weekend in Glen Ellyn at the College
of DuPage. For information on auditions, please refer to this
page. An exact start date will be determined shortly, it all
hinges on the available date for our main shooting location. Everything
else will fall into place after that. Optimally, we should be shooting
in one of the first two weekends of August. Friday, August 18th is
not an option due to prior obligations by director of photography Jason
Pavlik. Once casting is complete, the teaser poster will be released.

• A brand new revamp on this script has been completed,
and the hope is to shoot it this summer. Glenn Handzlik will reprise
his role as Lucas Blackmore from Vengeance, but three other roles
are left to fill. The shoot should be one weekend only since the
script is only 12 pages long with only four scenes total. More news
as it becomes available. |
