| Nobody stiffs Stoney Walker - bail
bondsman & bookie. Unfortunately, one Dion Cavanugh has not kept
up on his debts to the hard-edged Walker, and has become the one man Walker
would hunt down himself. But the big title bout in Vegas prevents
Stoney from personally cracking his skull. Enter the rational Vincent
Sloane Maxwell & the violent Erich K. Denton - combustible street muscle
for Stoney Walker. Stoney makes it clear, he wants his money, and
doesn't care how they get it. The duo tread through some pathetic
channels to reach the elusive Cavanuagh, but that's when things go really,
really, terribly, screwed-up bad. Someone gets shot, and someone's
gonna have to pay up....or else they're dead. |

[3.2.08]
• I started trying to script this dark comedy after
the dissolution of Vengeance in the latter half of 2005, but a scene
and a half was as far as it went. Sat still until recently.
Now, a renewed interest in fresh material has gotten it going again.
Approximately 10 pages are complete for what is INTENDED to be a short
film, but the same was said about The Fixer. But optimally,
a 40 minute run time is in mind. The character of Kurt Demerest,
portrayed by Michael Molloy in The Fixer, is scripted to appear,
and the role of Sandra Wilder (Heather A. Schlitt) may also appear in a
yet unscripted scene. The vision for the film has always had it set
in the winter with a sort of 70s gritty style to it. So, this will
possibly be explored at the latter end of this year. Though, all
things are tentative until things get rolling with my joint production
with J Dranter / Dead Rose Productions. |
