.Vic Simmons
has turned his life around to focus more on those closest to him.
His work as The Fixer has also been changed for the better, but it's about
to get worse. Joshua Brandon is the key witness against crime boss
Valentin Argent in a mob execution, and has no one else to turn to for
protection. One man can't fix everything alone, and thus, Vic Simmons
enlists the aid of Detective McManus and the local police. But this
problem cannot be fixed so easily. There is someone leaking information
to the Argent syndicate, and when Brandon is hidden in a safe house, they
order a hit to eliminate the innocent young man. The real question
is - can anyone fix this problem before it's too late? |

Scripting began on this sequel last summer as ideas
arose of the further development of these characters and the plot.
The story is meant to have a different feel. It will not be filled
with introspective turmoil, but instead, focus on Vic Simmons seeing the
reality of just how little he can do. Re-enforcing the belief that
"one man can't fix everything alone," and that it's getting harder and
more dangerous to be The Fixer. Ideas for the development
of a third film (set six years later) follow up on that. How long
will the script be? It's at 45 pages now, and it's half done, at
best. Everyone but Luther Resnick and Jack Logan return, and even
X. Franklin's & Katie Bishop's parts are very inconsquential to the
overall story. So, I can cut them out, if need be. Also, a
minor junkie, low life crossover character from Vengeance (who's
also mentioned in Past Due) named Scarven appears. All in
all, this will be a much larger and more compex production, and wouldn't
be done until sometime long after Vengeance is finished. |
